Whole Horse Dissection Clinic
This event is the first of its kind in the UK for farriers and hoof care professionals. The standing whole horse dissection will focus on major muscle groups and the biomechanics that are linked to equine motion and hoof care.
The presentations will focus on functional anatomy and the whole horse dynamics of the horse as they relate the lower limbs and feet including the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton covering both pelvic and thoracic limbs as well as the flexor and extensor muscular chains involved in motion.
This is a fantastic oppertunity to broaden your knowledge and understanding of the structures involved in numerous common ailments and pathologies that confront farriers and hoof care professionals on a daily basis.
All dissections and presentations will be relayed onto large screen and recorded not only enabling the best view but allowing you to study further following the event.
The event is worth 4 CPD point on the day and affords the opportunity of up to 4 additional points of home study.
