The Legendary Burney Chapman discusses Laminitis and the heart bar shoe with the Late David Gulley

We are delighted to bring you this historic and valuable piece of history from the late Burney Chapman. In this video archive Burney discusses and demonstrates the use and application of the heart-bar shoe and dorsal hoof wall resection techniques in the treatment of chronic laminitis and founder cases. Burney is ably assisted in the practical by another icon of our craft the late David Gulley.

The tape was digitised from an old VHS tape, which sadly has seen some deterioration over the years resulting in some minor quality issues, none the less we highly recommend viewing – you’ll be glad you did.
