New Hoofflix Event May 1st Online Webinar

If you love horses, then our next webinar is for you! Our next myth-busting webinar is almost here!

Join us on 1st May (7-9 pm BST) as dental specialist Lucinda Stockley and Wayne Preece FWCF tackle “Unmasking the Link: Equine Dental Health, Hoof Morphology & Limb Loading.” – HOOFFLIX –

Join Lucinda Stockley & Wayne Preece FWCF in this myth-busting webinar exploring how dental health affects hoof form & limb function in this virtual event!

Online – Thursday, 17 Apr 2025 19:00 – 21:00 BST

In this groundbreaking HoofFlix webinar, Lucinda Stockley, an experienced equine dental technician and therapist, teams up with Wayne Preece FWCF, a leading farrier and hoof care expert, to debunk myths about the interconnectedness of equine dental health, hoof capsule morphology, and limb loading.

Many horse owners and professionals believe these aspects are unrelated, but recent research and clinical practice suggest a far more intricate relationship between a horse’s mouth, feet, and overall biomechanical function. Poor dental health can affect a horse’s chewing efficiency, causing changes in posture and muscle tension, which in turn impact limb loading and hoof balance. Conversely, hoof imbalances can strain certain areas of the mouth or head, leading to further dental problems, poor performance, and discomfort.

This webinar will dive into how malocclusions, uneven wear patterns, or restricted jaw movement might influence the horse’s posture and gait. Wayne and Lucinda will discuss how understanding this connection can lead to better holistic management practices, improving both your horse’s hoof health and overall well-being.
