E. Farriery Education & Alex Ridgeway BSc (Hons) join HoofFlix as a major contributor

HoofFlix.com are delighted to announce Alex Ridgeway BSc (Hons) and travelling farrier for the Godolphin racing organisation has agreed to join HoofFlix as a contributor of farriery and general hoofcare educational and how to videos. Alex is already well known for his video contributions through YouTube and has been a social media influencer since the concept of farriery education on digital media was formulated.

We ourselves have produced several videos with him over the years. Alex’s style is both unique and modern in its outlook bringing sometimes complex issues to the screen in a simple easy to follow short video format.
Our own experiences have shown his unique approach to be well suited to today’s digital audiences. Watch out for announcements through social media for new materials through the HoofFlix owner information, tips and tricks genre’s for the latest uploads of Alex’s material.

The first joint video productions from Alex & Mark can be seen in the Lea test new series on basic trimming techniques for both transitioning to barefoot management and for the immediate reception of a shoe. This series discusses the assessment of and application of the trimming protocol for both scenarios and will be of particular interest to all those with an interest in understanding the differences between bare foot and shod trimming techniques. We believe many will be surprised at the similarity between good farriery basic principles of the trimming process and those applied to the transition without trauma to barefoot management.
